On Saturday 7 June 2008, Monash University hosted the 2nd annual University Pathways Cup at the Clayton campus. Eight teams comprising of international students participated in a spirited and competitive day of the World Sport; soccer. To the backdrop of the V8 super cars, Monash came alive with over 300 players, referees and supporters, in a day that saw clouds, rain and sunshine.
Competition was fierce as Taylors College, Latrobe International College, Meridian International School, Swinburne Foundation, Monash College, Carrick Institute of Education and RMIT Foundation competed in the soccer round robin competition.
Congratulations to all teams, students and supporters who participated and staff who were able to organise teams. Special thanks to Football Federation Victoria for organising our 3 referees Zac, Cedric and John for the day.
